System Administrator/DevOps

WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and feature-rich Web and Mobile applications using NodeJs, React, React Native, PHP stack. We have successfully completed projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

Currently, our company consists of more than 120 unique specialists. We are aimed at expanding our team up to 200 members that will share our values, inspire and improve with us in achieving all set goals.

In order to strengthen our team we are looking for a System Administrator/DevOps who will support software development processes.

Your skill set:

• Experience in a similar role for 2 years or more;
• Experience in payment systems / fintech industry;
• Profound knowledge of Linux (networking, security, fault tolerance);
• Understanding of SSL/TLS principles, ability to use related tools;
• Understanding of security principles, methods and protocols;
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker);
• Profound knowledge of Ansible workflow;
• Experience with VMware vCloud platform;
• Experience in design, maintenance and support of NSX/NSX-T networks;
• Knowledge of analysis and troubleshooting tools;
• Experience in setting up and operating MySQL, Percona (clustering, replication, monitoring, fault tolerance);
• Understanding of software development life cycle, IT processes;
• Practical skills in developing policies, rules and procedures;
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools;
• Experience in implementing and maintaining PCI DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure;
• Professional knowledge of IT standards and security audits.

Would be a plus:

• Understanding the principles of continuous integration and continuous delivery;
• Understanding of GitOps, Agile and DevOps practice.

Your responsibilities:

• Operation of a software and hardware complex for working with payment systems / the fintech industry;
• Operation and maintenance of VMware vCloud virtual infrastructure;
• Maintenance and support of NSX/NSX-T networks;
• Support for software upgrade processes;
• Setting up and operation of logging and monitoring systems;
• Maintaining the document management system;
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, interaction with providers;
• Data backup and recovery;
• Passing PCI DSS level 1 certification once a year (every year).
