Payroll Accountant

WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and feature-rich Web and Mobile applications using NodeJs, React, React Native, PHP stack. We have successfully completed projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

We’re looking for a Payroll Accountant to strengthen our team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and HR recordkeeping.

Responsibilities: 

• Calculate salaries, sick leaves, vacation pay, bonuses, and other compensations;
• Maintain HR documentation and prepare staffing schedules;
• Keep track of working hours and manage timesheets;
  Prepare internal payroll reports and payment registers;
• Submit all required reports to the Tax Authorities, Pension Fund, Social Insurance Fund, and State Statistics Service (including unified reporting);
• Generate payment instructions for advances and salaries, and handle banking transactions;
• Reconcile bank statements for payroll and other payments using 1C / BAS;
• Process payments under gig contracts in accordance with Diia.City regulations;
• Use Google Docs / Google Sheets for daily reporting and task tracking.

Your skill set:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• Higher or unfinished higher education (relevant field);
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Ukrainian Accounting Standards (NAS);
• Strong understanding of Ukrainian labor laws;
• Proven track record of running the full payroll cycle and managing HR records independently;
• Sound knowledge of Ukrainian tax law and the ability to apply it in practice;
• Proficiency with tools like: M.E.Doc, 1C/BAS (Payroll + HR), Google Docs/Sheets, Client-Bank systems, the Taxpayer’s Electronic Cabinet, and Pension Fund portal;
• Confident communicator with regulatory authorities (Tax Office, PFU, FSS, State Statistics);
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
