We are looking for a Strong Junior PHP Developer to work on complex, scalable E-commerce solutions, who is eager to dive into details with a learning-focused team of engineers, who values transparent communication within the team and strives to expand their own expertise.
Your skill set:
- Commercial experience with PHP (1+ year);
- Hands-on development using SlimPHP or a similar microframework;
- Solid understanding of MySQL: queries, indexing, and DB structure optimization;
- Familiarity with GitLab and knowledge of git flow;
- Full-cycle development experience: from backend logic to adaptive layout (HTML, CSS, JS);
- Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs and services;
- Confident use of Twig for templating and UI support;
- Experience with backend caching using Memcached.
Would be a plus:
- Participation in code review processes;
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with PostgreSQL;
- Basic configuration skills and understanding of Nginx;
- Experience working with Propel ORM;
- Previous work on e-commerce platforms or products with complex business logic;
- Involvement in architecture planning or technical decision-making;
- Experience with SEO-focused development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize functional modules, pages, and individual product components;
- Integrate and maintain third-party APIs;
- Test your own code and participate in internal code reviews;
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead on architectural decisions and implementation approaches;
- Maintain code quality and structure according to team standards;
- Continuously grow technically and gradually take ownership of more complex tasks.
