Knowledge control system

The brief

It’s quiz is a running platform that assists thousands of people keeping track of their knowledge, and learning new things on a daily basis.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create a unified ecosystem for knowledge control by creating tests, surveys, attestations, and flexible analytical reports for the adaptive tool for self-education. Our task was also to implement organization management, groups, access control, a centralized question database, etc.

Solution

We have created a platform which consists of 5 parts: main web application (SPA), isomorphic quiz wall, admin UI, organization management app, backend with workers. Everything is written in JavaScript, which allowed us to have only one full-stack team.

Having 4 UI apps allowed for choosing the most efficient application architecture for each of them. In addition to the development approach, customer-side communication with the product owner was a critical success factor. We were able to easily align functional and non-functional criteria due to the customer’s high level of dedication to this project.

Advanced analytic tools: all passing data is collected automatically with real-time pass info and charts. You can monitor a detailed passing report with playback. And view radar charts by student skills and estimation.

Integration: you can create a test and embed it in an iframe on your website. Moreover, It’s quiz gives an API for integration. You can start testing your users’ knowledge and integrate It’s quiz into your application or website with only a few lines of code.

Flexibility: users can access tests from any device or platform. Since It’s quiz is responsive, creating, editing, and passing exams on screens of all sizes is simple.

Results

We delivered an online testing platform with powerful features and simple design. Tests, surveys, attestations, flexible analytical reports, adaptive self-education tools — all in a single ecosystem.

The platform currently has thousands of users among which are both individual users and enterprises.
