System Administrator/DevOps

WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and feature-rich Web and Mobile applications using NodeJs, React, React Native, PHP stack. We have successfully completed projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

Currently, our company consists of more than 130 unique specialists. We are aimed at expanding our team up to 200 members that will share our values, inspire and improve with us achieving all set goals.

In order to strengthen our team we are looking for a System Administrator who will support software development processes.

Your skill set:

• Experience in a similar position from 2 years;
• Experience in implementation and maintenance of PCI DSS level 1 certified infrastructure or a desire to learn (read the link if you are ready to learn https://listings.pcisecuritystandards.org/documents/PCI-DSS-v4_0.pdf);
• Experience working with payment systems or in the fintech industry;
• Deep knowledge of Linux (networking, process management, storage management);
• Understanding GitOps, Agile and DevOps practices;
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker);
• Understanding the principles of continuous integration and continuous delivery;
• Professional knowledge of IT standards and security audit;
• Proven skills in developing policies, rules and procedures;
• Understanding of the latest security principles, methods and protocols;
• Experience in configuring and operating MySQL/PostgreSQL (multi-master replication, master/slave replication, disaster recovery, SQL query profile, monitoring, backup).

Would be a plus:

• Understanding of software development life cycle, IT processes;
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint tools.

Your responsibilities:

• Operation of software and hardware complex for working with payment systems;
• Organization and maintenance of infrastructure certified under PCI DSS level 1;
• Support for backup and restoration of system performance in case of failures;
• Setup and operation of logging and monitoring systems;
• Diagnosis of technical problems between systems and protection of systems;
• Support software development processes through continuous integration and delivery.
