Middle Embedded Engineer
WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and feature-rich Web and Mobile applications using NodeJs, React, React Native, and PHP stack. We have successfully completed projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

Our IoT department is looking for a Middle Embedded Engineer to work on cool and exciting projects.
A friendly team of 25 people is waiting for you. We have already implemented several IoT projects:
- 2Smart Cloud IoT platform for DIY users and large manufacturers;
- cloud access control system Propustator with a line of access controllers and firmware for them of our design;
- automation platform for connecting a smart home or industrial facilities – 2Smart Standalone;
- a security robot prototype with the possibility of remote control and video surveillance via a mobile application.
We are currently working with a European customer for whom we are developing a cloud-based multifunctional system for managing and administering electric vehicle charging stations. This will become your first project on our team.

Your skill set:
- At least 1 year of experience as an Embedded Engineer;
- Knowledge of the C/C ++ programming language;
- Experience writing firmware for SP-IDF, Arduino;
- Knowledge of protocols: MQTT, I2C, Modbus,1Wire;
- Experience working with MQTT;
- Possession of software for tracing boards;
- Knowledge of circuitry (circuit diagram) and internal architecture of microcontrollers;
- Intermediate level of English.
Would be a plus:
- Higher education, technical specialty (radio engineering, electronics, telecommunications, etc.);
- Experience with ESP32;
- Experience in the development of IoT projects;
- Experience with a 3D printer;
- Possession of software for 3D modeling.

Responsibilities:
- Write firmware for ESP32, ESP8266 and other MCU;
- Develop and maintain SDK based on Arduino and ESP-IDF;
- R&D for new projects and technologies;
- Design printed circuits and boards, as well as cases for devices;
- Assemble prototypes of devices for internal testing and debugging;
- Develop internal documentation: checklists, test cases, prepare test reports;
- Provide product QC.
