About the Client
Euroline is one of Ukraine’s leading wholesale and retail distributors of sportswear, footwear, and accessories — officially representing international brands on the Ukrainian market, including Arena, Runlab, CMP, and Saucony. The company operates multiple branded online stores built on OpenCart, serving both B2C consumers and B2B partners.
Problem / Challenge
What Euroline came with
Euroline had no real loyalty system in place. Discounts were created and managed directly in OpenCart, which offered only two basic types — percentage-based and fixed-amount — with no flexibility for complex promotional mechanics. There was no analytics on loyalty performance, no segmentation, and no ability to personalize offers based on user profiles (e.g., birthday promotions or behavioral triggers). For large campaigns like their “SuperExchange” promotion, the team had to spin up a separate landing site and a custom mini-admin panel each time — a fragile, time-consuming process with no unified tooling across brands.
Why not build in-house?
Building a full-featured loyalty engine internally would have been expensive and slow. Euroline needed something they could launch quickly, but also customize deeply — they have strong opinions on product configuration and unique requirements that most off-the-shelf solutions can’t accommodate.
Why Loyalno?
Euroline evaluated other solutions on the market but found that very few offered the level of customization they needed. The deciding factor was WebbyLab’s ability to extend and adapt the Loyalno platform to fit Euroline’s specific business logic — across multiple storefronts, pricing types, and promotional mechanics.
Solution
WebbyLab deployed and deeply customized the Loyalno white-label loyalty platform for Euroline, integrating it across 6 branded OpenCart storefronts, including: Arena, RunLab, CMP, Saucony, Shift, and Saks’85. The engagement covered platform licensing, infrastructure deployment, custom feature development, OpenCart plugin development, eSputnik integration, and team training.
Deployment model
Cloud-based. Loyalno was deployed on the client’s infrastructure and configured to serve as the central loyalty engine across all Euroline web properties.
The Loyalno platform was extended with custom mechanics tailored to Euroline’s business needs — including multi-price type discount logic, auto-selection of the best deal for the buyer, complex bundle promotions, behavioral repurchase triggers, and eSputnik integration for marketing communications.
OpenCart integration
A custom Loyalno plugin was developed and deployed across all storefronts. It handles real-time discount calculation in the cart, bonus points accrual and redemption at checkout, automated daily product data sync to Loyalno, user profile enrichment, and post-delivery bonus triggers based on order status updates. The integration covers the full purchase lifecycle — from browsing to delivery confirmation.
Results
What changed for the Euroline team operationally:
- Replaced a fragmented, per-campaign discount setup in OpenCart with a unified loyalty admin panel covering all brands.
- Eliminated the need to build separate landing pages and mini-admin tools for major promotions.
- Gained full analytics on loyalty program performance — previously unavailable.
- Enabled personalized, trigger-based campaigns based on user purchase history and profile data.
- Gave marketing the ability to run complex multi-brand promotional mechanics (bundle deals, proportional discounts, birthday offers) without engineering involvement for each campaign.
