The brief

Online store ITbox.ua is one of the divisions of Brain Computers.

Throughout its 25-year history, ITbox has established strong relationships with the official representatives of the leading manufacturers of computer and household appliances; children’s goods; sports and tourism equipment; and other products.

ITbox has about 50 service centers and distribution points

Challenge

The goal was to develop a new B2C portal and online marketplace platform that would improve and automate internal business processes and make customer ordering simpler and faster.

Solution

We developed an API service to determine product availability at POS and courier delivery time. Consequently, site users can obtain instant information regarding an item’s availability at each point of purchase.

Elasticsearch, Google Analytics has also been integrated and customized.

Web App has its own management system for internal advertising, user segmentation service, custom categories tree management module, product availability calculation at the delivery point.

In this project, we implemented our custom solutions and, in combination with the storefront, developed an admin interface that allows the client to independently manage all SEO blocks.

Results

• In 1year we’ve developed and launched e-commerce portal itbox.ua. Team managed to optimize and automate internal business processes and provide easy and faster ordering for clients.
• User centered design, web optimization and site’s speed for search engines allows getting 17% organic traffic. Around 1 M visitors users per month with more than 1k users simultaneously, the system is processing over 10k transactions per month. More than 350k SKU are displayed to users from PIM.

We continue to work in support mode after the active development phase was finished.
